Hogging the Road

HOGGING THE ROAD

The sidewalk is the place where you belong.
It tempts me to speed up when you’re so slow.
Don’t be arrogant when you’re in the wrong.
I cannot see you when you are so low.

Do not be angry when I go around.
It’s not my fault you cannot go as fast.
Or now that bikes in speed do not abound,
I do not care if in your race you’re last.

Your health is important to you I know.
Please get out of the way; I’ve got to leave.
When behind you I could a sweater sew,
So if you don’t speed up I must reprieve.

Oh gosh I’m late already, thanks a lot.
So please excuse me you are in my spot.
